... one of the southernmost regions of Europe on even-tempered Andalusian horses!

Between the equestrian city Jerez and the southernmost point of Spain there is a cozy finca just few kilometers away from the Costa de la Luz. Here you can spend your individual riding holidays; you chose your favourite riding pensum. Besides the ride you have the possibility to relax at the pool or you just go for excursions into the surroundings of the finca... there is no lack of interesting destinations in this region!

Discover the diversified landscape of the Costa de la Luz on horseback! Depending on your personal wishes, your riding ability, your shape and further other sightseing plans you have, you chose your individual riding pensum.

In groups of at most 4 riding guests you discover the surroundings of the finca on different rides (2 to 4 hours). There is a lot to see, like for instance the cork tree forests with cow flocks and the famous black pigs or the pine tree forest of Roche with its soft ground, which invites to do long canters.

If you wish to be on horseback even longer, you can participate in the dayrides. One possible dayride is a ride to the beach of Roche, where you can make your dream of a beach canter come true! A different dayride goes into the hinterland through a finca with the size of 1000 hectares. Following small trails we pass cow flocks and ride through untouched nature - there is no road, no car and no noise... pure silence!
(During the dayrides we stop for a lunch break; the lunches are not included in the price. Please consider that due to the high temperatures in the summer months, the dayrides can't take place in this period.)

Besides the riding program you organize your relaxing or sightseeing program however you wish to. Being located near to Jerez the finca is an ideal starting point for many different trips through Andalusia! In summer it is recommendable to visit the different and very beautiful beaches nearby.

Riding package 12 hours of riding: € 180,--

Riding package 15 hours of riding: € 225,--

Prices for single rides:
2-hours ride: € 40,--
3-hours ride: € 50,--
Pine tree forest ride (4 hours): € 60,--
Dayride to the beach (5-6 hours): € 70,--
Dayride into the hinterland (6 hours): € 80,--

Dayrides can't be included into a riding package; they have to be booked separately.

Children Special:
For young children our partner offers a riding introduction. It is possible to book a 6-day riding packet for children from 5 to 9 years. This contains a lesson each day in the riding arena. First the horse is being lead, then lunged and later on a normal lesson is possible - always depending on the riding ability and the courage of the child. Certainly children can also take part in cleaning and saddling the horse.

General information and requirements:

Number of participants: 2 to 4 riders

Riding ability required: You need to be in a good physical condition and be able to control a well-ridden horse in the three paces. You should also have at least one year of experience in trail riding.

Weight: You should not weigh more than 80 kg.

Age: For rides the minimum is 13 years; younger kids on request. Minors in general can only book a holiday at the finca if they are accompanied by a parent.

Horses and saddles:
The horses all have Andalusian parentage and are even-tempered. For the rides Spanish trail riding saddles and Spanish bridles or English saddles and bridles are being used. The rides are done in walk and canter (no trot).

Meeting point: the finca

Please inform us, if you need a special diet.

Advices:

•  arrival and departure is possible every day of the week
•  minimum stay is 3 nights
•  transfers from / to Jerez airport from 10.00 am to 08.00 pm
•  arrival with a rental car from 10.00 am to 02.00 pm and from 05.00 pm to 11.00 pm
•  german and english speaking host and guiding
•  no riding on the days of arrival and departure
•  riding generally takes place in the morning

Interesting excursions for riders:

•  the Carthusian stud in Jerez (our favourite)! Visits only on saturdays!
•  Spanish Riding School in Jerez

What to bring:

•  towels for use at pool or beach
•  riding clothes
•  rain clothes (just in case; no riding with heavy rain!)
•  riding boots
•  riding helmet (helmets are always adviced by insurances, they can get very hot in the sun.)
•  hat or cap (if you ride without a helmet)
•  bathing suit
•  suncream
•  camera

Available on-site:

•  bedclothes
•  towels (for use in the rooms)

Regarding the journey:

The nearest airports are Jerez, Sevilla and Malaga. The nearest airport to the finca is Jerez (which is e.g. a Ryanair destination). We recommend to rent a car on-site to be able to do some excursion or to drive to the beach.
We are at your disposal for finding the best possibility for reaching our partner in Andalusia. If you wish, we can also make you an offer for flight tickets (except Low-Cost-Carriers), a rental car and travel insurances.
