For your next Camargue holiday we have a wonderful home to offer you. In a familiar atmosphere you are accomodated in a typical provencal "mas". There are guestrooms or an appartment available - from full board to self-catering, depending on your individual preferences. Children are very welcome as well; two dogs, cats and certainly all the horses are always happy to have small two legged visitors.

The mas is about 30 km away from the coast; in a 30 minutes drive you arrive at the famous town Saintes Maries de la Mer with its never ending beach. Additionally you can go on different excursions through the Parc Régional de Camargue, visit the "Van Gogh town" Arles, Aigues-Mortes or Les Baux-de-Provence - situated in the rocky Alpilles.

Certainly also beginners can try out some riding; very patient and experienced horses will care for you.

Location of the mas / distances:

•  Arles: 20 km
•  Saintes Maries de la Mer: 30 km
•  Montpellier (airport): 60 km
•  Marseille (airport): 110 km

Included:

•  accomodation (7 nights) with breakfast on the farm in guestrooms
   with private bathroom or in the appartment described below
•  5x dinner including drinks (provencal cuisine with fresh products
   bought on the market or at organic farms)
   (2x dinner is not included, because the restaurants in the region
   are happy having guests and your hosts are happy having
   an evening off)
•  lunch: the kitchen with bread, sausage, cheese, fruit, salad
   and wine is at your disposal.
•  guests can use bicycles, the library, deck chairs and the living
   room with fireplace without extra charge.
•  a voucher from the insolvency insurance

Prices 2010 per person:

in a double room or in three in the apartment: € 460,--
in a three-bedded room or in at least four in the apartment € 430,--
in a single room or in two in the appartment: € 510,--
children up to 12 years: € 290,--
supplement when arriving on a different day than Saturday: € 50,--

Possibility 2: Book individual stays in the guestrooms

If you can't or would not like to book the all inclusive week, you can arrange your stay chosing from the single services written below. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom.

Just request your individual date, we will certainly find a solution!

Children from 2 to 12 years only pay half of the price!

Additional costs:

•  dinner with drinks included: € 25,-- (children up to 12 years: € 18,--)
   served is provencal cuisine with fresh products bought on the market or at organic farms!
•  Riding (on Camargue and Andalusian horses at large part raised here):
     • a ride of 1 to 1,5 hours: € 25,--
     • a ride of 2,5 to 3 hours: € 35,--
     • half day ride with picnic: € 45,--
     • half day ride at the sea with lunch: € 80,--
     • dayride with picnic: € 70,--
     • dayride at the sea with lunch: € 110,--

Possibility 3: Book the appartment (up to 5 persons)

The holiday flat is connected to the main building and consists of two rooms (one sleeping room with two beds and one room with a bunk bed and a sofa as second sleeping room and living room at the same time), a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom.

Price per week 2010 (Saturday to Saturday): € 640,--
plus € 30,-- per person for electricity, water, bedclothes, final cleaning.

Optional is to additionally book breakfast (€ 8,-- per person; € 6,-- for children from 2 to 12 years).

Certainly guests living in the appartment can as well book dinner or rides additionally!

Further information:

•  refrigerator, coffee machine (filter coffee) available in the appartment
•  heating is included in the price: central heating in the guest rooms, small electric ovens in the appartment
•  next shopping possibility: in St. Gilles about 3 km from the farm - small shops, twice a week a market as well as
   a big supermarket

Regarding the journey:

For arriving by train your possible destination stations are Nimes and Arles. From there we can organize a pick-up (depending on the exact arrival time, it might be required to do another short trip by bus or taxi).
Possible airports are Marseille (about 110 km to the farm; see e.g. Air France or Lufthansa for details) and Montpellier (about 60 km to the farm, check e.g. Ryanair).

For arriving at the farm and for your stay we would advice a car, if you wish to do excursions, because the farm is almost impossible to leave or reach by public transport. Depending on the distance it can that's why make sense to travel with the own car. But don't forget to consider, that on French motorways the charges sum up quite fastly!
