For many of our guests this agriturismo has already become a second home; natural and honest hospitality, a fantastic quietness in a wonderful landscape and lots of friendly animals give so much charme to this place. Because of the small number of beds the atmosphere is guaranteed for all of our guests.

But Pratoverde is not only the perfect destination for those who would just like to relax during their holidays; located near the most attractive towns in Umbria and not far from the Lago Trasimeno it is a perfect place of departure for day-trips. And those who want to enjoy the unique peace of this place just stay at the agriturismo and spend their day on the panoramic terrace of the holiday flat or at the pool.

For kids there is always a lot to discover at Pratoverde: there are four horses, a cow, some cats (the number is somehow always changing), some dogs, a cock and several chicken living here and at the pond also some geese and frogs!

We are happy to nowadays be able to offer horseback riding for our guests. At the moment, there are four horses living at the farm, who are patient to do lessons for kids or to go out for rides through the beautiful hilly countryside with good riders.

A short advice concerning the language: Luca speaks very well english, Barbara started to be quite good with it either. So the conversation is no problem at all.

There are three different possibilities for spending the holidays at Pratoverde: booking the holiday flat with up to 4 persons, booking Bed & Breakfast in one of the three guest rooms (dinner can be booked on-site) or booking the whole holiday home with up to 10 persons.

We would like to point out that we offer both prices per day and week to enable an indivdual travel arrangement. We don´t have preset conditions like special arrival days or minimum lengths of stays.
But we have one restriction: very short stays are not possible at holiday weekends. And we can rent the entire house only on a weekly basis.

Just request your individual date, we will certainly find a solution!

Your pets are very welcome as well! (if they are not vicious...)

Possibility 1: Booking the holiday flat for 4 persons

•  size: about 80 square meters
•  1 sleeping room (double room), 1 living room with a kitchenette,
   a daybed and a fireplace, 1 spacious bathroom with a shower and
   the heart of the flat: the panoramic terrace
•  use of the swimming pool next to the house is included
   (open from 1st of June till 15th of September)
•  bedclothes and towels included
•  refrigerator, caffetiera (italian coffee machine for a gas
   stove) available
•  final cleaning included
•  a voucher from the insolvency insurance included

Prices for the holiday flat 2010:

Possible additional costs:

•  heating costs (used units according to the meter)
•  additional cleaning
•  wood for the fireplace
•  costs for riding lessons or rides (15 Euros per hour, longer rides are a bit cheaper per hour)
•  costs for using the washing machine

Guests who are accomodated in the appartment are very welcome as well to order breakfast or dinner prepared by their host (on request). For an ample, freshly prepared breakfast Baraba asks 8 Euro per person and for a very good dinner 20 Euro per person.

Possibility 2: Booking Bed & Breakfast in the guest rooms

•  Accomodation in a double room with shared bathroom
•  ample, freshly prepared breakfast (eggs of the own chicken, freshly baked pastry, own honey,...)
•  daily making of the bed
•  use of the swimming pool next to the house included (open from 1st of June till 15th of September)
•  a voucher from the insolvency insurance included

Prices for the guest rooms in 2010:

You are very welcome to have dinner at the agriturismo, for 20 Euro per person Barbara prepares a very good menu (if you are interested in a dinner, just let her know it one day before).
Children up to 12 years get a discount of 20% on the price for B&B.
There is no single supplement for single travelers.
For guests in the guest rooms there is a big living room available, where breakfast is served in case of foul weather.
Luca is happy to offer riding lessons or to go on rides through the countryside with experienced riders (on request on the spot). The price per hour is 15 Euro, for longer rides the price per hour is a bit reduced.

Advice: Guests traveling together share the bathroom. If you just book one room, the bathroom is your private bathroom, because in this case the other rooms will not be rented. The hosts would like to avoid, that people who don't know each other have to share a bathroom, which might be unpleasant for the guests.

Possibility 3: Entire renting of the holiday home for up to 10 persons

For groups up to 10 persons there is the possibility to rent the complete guest area of the house plus an additional living room and a big kitchen. Details for this offer will be published on the website very soon.

Regarding the journey:

The most convenient railway station for reaching the agriturismo is Terontola (near the Lago Trasimeno). from where we can organize a transfer to the farm.
Possible arrival airports are Perugia, Florence, Bologna and maybe Pisa or Rome.

In general we would like to note, that a car is reccomandable for a stay at the agriturismo, because it is necessary for excursions or just to go shopping. Depending on the distance we reccomend to travel with the own car.
